What should I actually put on the postcard?
One clear offer, one obvious next step, and a reason to act now. A postcard gets a couple of seconds of attention, so a single strong message beats five competing ones.
What earns its space
- A specific offer — "$79 tune-up", not "great service".
- One call to action — call, scan, or visit. Not all three.
- A reason it is relevant now — the season, a new listing, an opening.
- Enough identity that they know who you are and that you are local.
What usually wastes it
- A list of every service you offer.
- A paragraph of company history.
- Three phone numbers and four social icons.
- A photo that could be any business in any town.
