Why did my route count or address count change?

Changing a filter changes which routes are shown, and changing the radius or ZIP re-queries USPS for a different area. Address counts come from USPS route data and can differ from what you saw previously if USPS has updated it.

Common reasons

  • You changed the income, age or household filter — fewer routes match, so the total drops.
  • You changed the radius, which asks USPS for a different set of routes.
  • You searched a different or additional ZIP code.
  • USPS updated its route data. Address counts are theirs, and they change as delivery changes.

USPS requirement

Address counts come from USPS route delivery statistics. L&B does not set them and cannot adjust them.

If a count changed between adding routes and checking out and you are not sure why, call us before you pay rather than after — it is much easier to look at together while the selection is still in front of you.
