EDDM & neighborhood mailing

Can I skip specific addresses on my EDDM mailing?

Yes — you can ask L&B to leave specific addresses out of a mailing, up to 22 per mailing per ZIP. Skipping an address does NOT reduce your piece count, your postage or your price: you are still buying the whole route.

L&B policy

The quantity does not change. Your print quantity, postage quantity, bundle counts and price stay the quantities associated with the routes you selected. This is the point people most often expect to work the other way.

How the site works

The limit is 22 skipped addresses per mailing per ZIP. That is L&B system capacity — the USPS Facing Slip we generate prints 22 Do Not Deliver positions — and it is NOT a USPS maximum. Beyond 22, call us and we will prepare the mailing with you.

The usual reasons are your own address, a competitor, or a property you already serve. Give us the addresses and we record them on the USPS paperwork as Do Not Deliver.

Skipped addresses are treated as confidential. They appear on your own order and receipt, and nowhere else.
