What size postcard should I mail?
Bigger pieces are harder to ignore and cost more to print and mail. 6.25×9 is the common EDDM workhorse — large enough to stand out in a stack, small enough to stay affordable at volume.
The real decision is how much you are willing to pay for presence. A larger piece genuinely does get noticed more in a handful of mail; whether that is worth the extra per piece depends on what a customer is worth to you.
USPS requirement
EDDM requires a flat-size mailpiece — larger than a standard letter. That is why EDDM postcards start bigger than the postcards you might buy off the shelf.
