Three sizes: 8.5×11" for standard single-page menus, 11×17" for large format or fold-over presentation, and 5.5×17" for the slim tall format that reads well on a table. Menus that guide every order

A menu is a sales tool that lands in front of every guest. Lay it out well and it nudges people toward the dishes you most want to sell.

Restaurants

Layout that steers the order

Place your highest-margin and signature dishes where the eye lands first, and guests order more of them. A clean menu makes choosing easy and the bill bigger.

Pro tip

Box or highlight a few dishes you want to move and they will get ordered more.

Bars & Cafes

A menu that survives the shift

Spills, grease, and constant handling wear a menu down fast. A durable stock or a wipeable finish keeps it looking fresh through service after service.

Pro tip

Ask about a coated or laminated stock for menus that get handled all day.

Seasonal & Specials

Fresh menus without the wait

Rotate seasonal items, new pricing, or a holiday lineup without redoing your whole brand. Reprinting is quick, so the menu always matches what is in the kitchen.

Pro tip

Keep a print-ready file on hand so seasonal updates take a quick reprint, not a redesign.

How It Works

1

Choose Size & Quantity

8.5×11" (standard), 11×17" (large format or fold-over), or 5.5×17" (slim tall). Order as few as 50 menus, or 5,000 for a seasonal reprint cycle.

2

Upload Your Print-Ready Menu File

PDF preferred. CMYK, 300 DPI, with 0.125" bleed. Our team can also handle file setup if you have menu content but no print file. Just ask.

3

Free Design Review

We review every menu for bleed, text legibility at print size, color consistency on Aqueous-coated stock, and flat-finish output, before a single sheet goes to press.

4

Printed on Wipe-Clean Stock, Printed and Delivered

100lb Gloss Cover with Aqueous coating, a surface that holds up to daily handling and spot cleaning. Shipped flat, ready to slip into your menu covers or use standalone.

The L&B Promise

If we're responsible for a material production error, we'll make it right. We'll review what happened and determine the appropriate reprint, refund, or credit. No forms, no delays, no argument. We've been standing behind our work since 1974. That's not a policy. That's a habit.

Frequently asked questions

What paper and coating do you use for restaurant menus?

100lb Gloss Cover stock with Aqueous coating. The Aqueous coating creates a wipe-clean surface that holds up to daily handling, spills, and the inevitable grease smudge, without becoming sticky or yellowing over time. It's the standard for restaurant menus that see 100+ covers per night.

How often should I reprint my menus?

Most NJ restaurants reprint menus seasonally (every 3–4 months) to update pricing, swap in seasonal items, and refresh worn copies. A 500-piece seasonal reprint cycle at L&B is more cost-effective per menu than ordering 100 copies four times. Call us for volume pricing on reprint programs.

What's the minimum quantity?

Our minimum is 50 menus. A typical 30-seat restaurant needs 40–60 menus in rotation at any given time. Most of our restaurant clients in NJ order 100–200 so they always have fresh replacements on hand without running short.

What file format do you need?

PDF is preferred. CMYK, 300 DPI, with 0.125" bleed on all sides. Make sure prices, item names, and descriptions are set in CMYK (not RGB) for color accuracy. Our free design review checks text legibility, bleed, and coating compatibility before printing.

Can you print menus that fold?

Yes. Our 11×17" menus fold to a standard 8.5×11" presentation. If you need a scored and folded menu, specify that at order time. We score before folding so there's no cracking on coated stock.

How long does menu printing take?

We confirm production time for your job when we review the order. If you're updating menus for a Friday dinner service, call us early in the week at 908.232.7770. We can often accommodate tight-deadline reprints.

What if something is wrong with my order?

The L&B Promise: If we're responsible for a material production error, we'll make it right. We'll review what happened and determine the appropriate reprint, refund, or credit. In practice, it rarely gets that far — our free design review catches virtually every issue before we go to press. We stand behind every job. Call us at 908.232.7770 if you ever have a concern.
